Sharing your notes
How to get your notes out into the world - or not.
Any notes generated on Granola for iPhone will be synced to your Granola account on macOS, where you can share them via direct integrations for Slack, HubSpot and Notion.
After you’ve generated your notes with Granola, you can share them in a few different ways:
- Copy link will copy a unique URL link to the meeting notes, which you can send to others. You can edit the access to the link by clicking the dropdown.
- Copy text will copy the whole note onto your clipboard
- Email will open a gmail draft with the note contents copied in
- Our Slack, Notion, Hubspot and Affinity integrations can be used to share a note to those platforms
Granola prioritizes your privacy, and does not auto-share your notes to attendees.
What does someone else see?
Anyone you share to can:
- Read the note
- Hover over a particular point to get more context from the transcript
- “Ask Granola” more questions about the meeting
How can I turn off sharing links for myself or my organisation?
You can disable the link for each note individually via the dropdown, or for all notes in your account settings. Enterprise customers can control this for their whole organisation. See how to control sharing link access here.

Sharing with meeting attendees
When you end a meeting on Granola for iPhone, you’ll have the option to share the notes with attendees. If you choose to share, Granola will automatically send an email to all attendees with a link to view the meeting notes.
Granola prioritizes your privacy, and does not auto-share your notes to attendees.
Sharing with others
Once a note is processed and transcribed, you can share it with anyone:
- Open the note you want to share
- Tap the share button in the top right
- Use the iOS share sheet to send the link via any app on your phone - email, Slack, WhatsApp, or any other app that supports sharing links
You can also tap the three dots menu and copy your note with formatting to paste in another app.
