We're looking for a Sales Development Representative who is passionate about establishing our sales development foundation from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to help define sales at Granola! You'll partner directly with our Founding AE team to help establish our go-to-market approach while making an immediate impact on our business metrics. As an integral part of our sales team, you'll be pivotal in scaling Granola to its next 100x growth milestone.
In this role, you'll first own our customers' journey from first-touch to AE conversion. That means managing inbound leads the moment they land in the inbox - qualifying, nurturing, and preparing them for a seamless handoff. You'll also proactively reach out to customers on our free plan, uncovering opportunities where an AE can help them see the value of upgrading to a paid plan.
In this role, you will:
- Own the critical path from inbound interest to AE conversation - qualifying leads, nurturing them, and making sure the handoff is seamless
- Proactively engage with customers on our free plan to uncover opportunities for AEs to upsell into paid accounts
- Run a tight, structured process to ensure no lead slips through the cracks
- Help shape and improve our prospecting and qualification playbook as we learn what works
- Collaborate closely with AEs and the wider team to ensure we're prioritising the right opportunities
Your background looks something like:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in an SDR / BDR role at a SaaS company
- Demonstrated ability to qualify leads, ask great questions, and spot high-potential opportunities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to build trust quickly and communicate clearly
- Highly organised, disciplined, and able to manage many early sales processes at once
- Excited to progress into an AE role in the near future
- Enthusiasm for building something new rather than following an established playbook

About the Opportunity
We are living in the most exciting time for tool builders since Engelbart's demo in 1968. We want to assemble the best crew to build this future together, here in London. Our compensation philosophy is to pay slightly above market on salary and above market on equity.
Location
We are excited to work in-person from our office in London (most of the time). We have a new, bright and spacious office at Old Street. We are happy to offer relocation assistance to candidates who'll be moving to London to join us.
